🍫 Clive’s Corner — Snack Department Review

Opening Scene
I walked into the shop this afternoon and found Clive lounging like he was on break from a movie set. Sarape, hat, belt — the full frontier ensemble — and a gallon of Mountain Dew within reach.
He looked up, waved the snack bag, and said:
“Kid, we got ourselves a situation in the snack department.”
Clive’s Commentary
“Listen, Kid, I’ve been guzzlin’ this green nectar by the gallon, but a man of my standin’ needs variety. You can’t expect me to supervise all day without proper rations.”
He held up the bag of Muddy Bites like it was gold.
“I don’t know what a waffle cone is, but these babies pass my high standards. You can leave the bag.”
Classic Clive — the Aussie licorice was gone, and now he’d moved on to my latest snack obsession.
What Actually Happened
Clive spent the afternoon taste‑testing every snack within reach. He declared the Muddy Bites “frontier‑approved,” demanded a dedicated snack shelf, and suggested I add “Snack Procurement Manager” to his growing list of job titles.
When I reminded him he’d just been paid, he gave me that look — the one that says don’t start drama you can’t finish.
“Kid, you’re lucky to have someone with my experience supervisin’ you. Snacks are part of morale management.”
I decided to let him have the bag.
Maker’s Note
Clive’s snack reviews are becoming a regular part of shop life. He’s equal parts critic and consumer, and somehow every snack he touches becomes a frontier delicacy.
He may not have taste buds, but he’s got opinions — and that’s apparently all he needs.
